The Vision Is Now Complete: Daily Coffee Opens at 17Seventeen
One building. One roaster. One idea about what an office building can be. Today, it’s fully realized.
There’s a version of this story that’s about coffee. The roaster, the hours, the address. But that’s not really the story.
The story is about what a building is supposed to feel like.
When Gaedeke Group first brought Daily Coffee into One McKinney, the idea was simple but deliberate: give tenants and neighbors a reason to arrive. Not just an amenity in the traditional sense, but a daily ritual. A gathering point. A first impression that says this building is thinking about your experience, not just your square footage. It worked. And today, that same idea comes to life at 17Seventeen.
The Second Location
Daily Coffee opens at 17Seventeen today, April 29th. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, open to the public. Coffee is sourced from Viewfinder Coffee Roasters, the same specialty roaster behind the One McKinney location.
For Uptown Dallas, that means two Gaedeke buildings now anchor a ground-floor coffee experience on the same roaster, the same standard, and the same ethos. Whether you’re a tenant, a neighbor, or someone who just discovered this building for the first time, the welcome is the same.
Why This Matters Beyond Coffee
The best office buildings in 2026 aren’t winning on price or proximity alone. They’re winning on experience. On the question tenants are increasingly asking when they evaluate a space: what does a day here actually feel like?
A quality coffee concept inside a building changes the answer to that question in ways that are hard to quantify but easy to feel. It gives people a reason to come in a little earlier. It creates the kind of informal interaction that makes a tenant community feel like something more than a floor plan. It builds a connection between the building and the surrounding neighborhood that no lobby renovation can achieve on its own.
At 17Seventeen, that connection matters even more. The building sits adjacent to Klyde Warren Park, one of Dallas’s most dynamic public spaces. The ground floor has always had the potential to be a destination in its own right. Daily Coffee is the first step in fully realizing it, with a new conference center, a forthcoming deli, and a Mediterranean restaurant still ahead.
A Vision, Fully Realized
When we look at the arc of what’s been built across One McKinney and 17Seventeen over the past year, a picture comes into focus. Two flagship Uptown properties, each with a curated ground-floor experience. A shared coffee partner that brings consistency and quality across both addresses. A commitment to the kind of daily life inside a building that makes the choice to stay, or to choose it in the first place, feel obvious.
That’s not an accident. It’s what intentional ownership looks like when it plays out over time.
Come find us at 17Seventeen. The coffee is on.
