30 Stories for 30 Years: Crawfish, Colleagues, and a Great Afternoon

Gaedeke’s Texas employees recently came together for one of our favorite annual events: the Crawfish Boil.

This year’s gathering featured pounds of crawfish, burgers off the grill, plenty of sides, and a table full of homemade desserts. It was a welcome break from the workday and a chance to catch up with teammates in a relaxed setting.

Special thanks to Dan Yates, Bobby Schattle, and Megan McCrummen for leading the cooking efforts. Between their work at the boil and the team’s dessert contributions, no one left hungry. There was also a raffle with prizes and Gaedeke-branded swag available for anyone who wanted to grab something before heading out.

As we celebrate Gaedeke’s 30th anniversary, moments like this remind us that our culture is shaped just as much by connection as by milestones. It’s not just about the food. It’s about the people who make these moments matter.
